Pentagon: U.S., Israel agree to collaborate on cybersecurity

 U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon agreed this week to collaborate on efforts to boost each other's cybersecurity safeguards, Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said.

The two leaders met recently at the Pentagon, and Cook said Carter reiterated the "unshakeable" U.S. commitment to helping Israel remain strong defensively.

The duo also discussed a range of regional security issues at their meeting, Cook said. They previouisly met in October to discuss defense strategies.
