Summit2Sea Consulting LLC recently was awarded a five-year $28 million Comptroller business systems support contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

"We are excited for the opportunity to support DARPA's critical research mission by improving financial-management functions, streamlining business operations, and supplying leading-edge technical expertise," Summit2Sea Senior Managing Consultant Bryan Eckle said.

DARPA uses the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a system based on Oracle-Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Business Intelligence (BI). Summit2Sea will be working on DARPA's Oracle ERP system. Summit2Sea will assist DARPA with technical expertise in interfaces, business systems architecture, software development, database administration, applications help desk and project management.

Summit2Sea plans to implement ERP integrations such as Hyperion budget formulation, the Treasury Internet Payment Platform (IPP) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), as well as eliminate manual reconciliations, and the attendant costs, through further automating DARPA’s procure-to-pay process.
