CB&I officials announced Wednesday it awarded a $60 million contract for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, Rapid Disaster Infrastructure Response Program.
"For more than 20 years, CB&I has assisted the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in providing public and civil works services," Chip Ray, president of CB&I's Capital Services operating group, said. "We are proud to continue to deliver emergency response and recovery services and serve the federal government for this Rapid Disaster Infrastructure Response program."
CB&I's scope of work includes flood control, water diversion projects and channel alignments resulting from time-sensitive natural or man-made disasters throughout the United States.
