U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) gave the keynote address at the Crane George Rogers Clark Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) at WestGate Academy in southwest Indiana.
Addressing a crowd of his home-state constituents, Donnelly gave an overview of current and near-term national security challenges. Donnelly also spoke about his recent official visit to Iraq as member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
The George Rogers Clark (GRC) Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association is dedicated to upholding the vision and mission of the national organization, focusing on bringing together the defense community in Indiana and Kentucky.
The GRC chapter also aims to support the joint operations community and economic development in Indiana and Kentucky.
That’s part of a broader NDIA effort to advocate new technologies, promote a government-industry national security team, and provide a legal and ethical forum on defense issues.
The National Defense Industrial Association is the United States' leading defense industry association, which promotes a strong national security agenda.
NDIA brings in members that develop the most innovative and superior equipment, training and support for military personnel and first responders through their divisions, local chapters, affiliated associations and events.
The association also facilitates the the exchange of information between defense industry interests and the government on national security issues.
