Cubic Global Defense showcases new virtual training platforms
The event is hosted by the Air Force Association (AFA) and brings together military leadership, industry experts, academia and current aerospace specialists from around the world. Those experts discuss the issues and challenges facing the aerospace community.
Cubic Global Defense will use the expo to tout its latest technologies, including Real-time LVC Air Combat Training. The company will provide a demonstration of its ‘Live’ P5 Combat Training System and ‘Virtual’ L3 Link SimuStrike flight simulator.
Also on display will be the company’s Modern Air Combat Environment, which provides a simulation with the ability to create complex patterns of life scenarios, weapons employment, etc. Cubic’s Individual Combat Aircrew Display System with Advanced Windows-based aircrew combat displays provides real-time monitoring and control, allowing users to communicate with pilots, control simulated threats and fire simulated weapons.
“Cubic was at the forefront of air combat training with the development of Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI), and we continue to work closely with the U.S. Air Force and allied nations to deliver the next-generation of critical training technologies and solutions,” Bill Toti, president of Cubic Global Defense, said. “In collaboration with industry partner L3 Link, we look forward to demonstrating an interoperable training solution in a true LVC environment leveraging Cubic’s next-generation combat training systems.”
