The Army, Missile
Defense Agency, Navy, Air Force and Defense Logistics Agency have awarded contracts to several companies recently.
The Defense Logistics Agency awarded up to $9.75 million to AK GlobalTech Corp., which will supply medical equipment in a five-year agreement for the New Jersey-based company. There were 98 bids for this project.
The Air Force has awarded $13,166,915 to the Rockhill Group Inc. of Florida, which will provide air-crew instruction at Hurlburt Field in Florida and Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico through Dec. 31, 2016. There were 11 bids for this project.
The Air Force also provided $9,544,764 to BAE Systems for support for the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages management program.
The Navy awarded a contract for $21.5 million to Lockheed Martin and its subsidiary Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. The companies will work on updated configurations for F-35 Lightning II planes that will be shipped to Japan. The work will be completed by the end of 2016.
Another Navy contract was awarded to Progeny Systems Corp. for $7,736,483. Progeny will provide technical and engineering services for information-assurance solutions.
The Army awarded $32,674,202 to Raytheon for 22 turrets that will be used on light-armored anti-tank vehicles that will be used for the Marine Corps.
Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems will be awarded $66,491,518 by the Missile Defense Agency for flat-antenna equipment, as well as transformers, processors and other equipment.
