The Air Force, Army, Navy and Defense Logistics Agency announced its latest series of military contracts on Thursday.
Three new contracts and one contract modification were awarded by the Air Force. BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc. was awarded a $278.5 million contract for the Instrumentation Radar Support Program. Lockheed Martin Corp. was awarded an $8.2 million contract to develop, build and demonstrate a low size-weight-power and cost (SWaP-C) seeker prototype that can located targets where GPS is not reliable or available. Lockheed Martin's Aeronautic Co. was awarded a $30.9 million contract modification. PKL Services Inc. received a $62.6 million contract for F-15 maintenance upgrade training for the Royal Saudi Air Force.
The Army awarded six contracts. It awarded Aegis Technologies Group Inc. with a $1.06 million shared contract for developing contracting arrangements. Four bids were received. The estimated completion date of the contract is Dec. 16, 2018. The remaining contracts were modifications to existing contracts with AC First LLC, General Dynamics Land Systems, Leidos Inc., Lockheed Martin Missile Fire Control and Sikorsky Aircraft Corp.
The Navy awarded two contract modifications and three new contracts. Boeing Co. received a $178.06 million modification and Raytheon Co. received a $28.17 million modification for existing contracts. BAE Systems Electronics, Intelligence & Support/Electronic Solutions received a $20.94 million contract for 284 fiber optic towed decoys for F/A-18E/F aircraft. Cole Engineering Services Inc. was awarded a $26.69 million for the Marine Air Ground Task Force Tactical Warfare Simulation System (MTWS). Ramsys GmbH was awarded $28.11 million for the recertification of RAM guided missile rounds.
In addition to the military service's contracts, the Defense Logistics Agency awarded two contracts and a contract modification. Wolverine World Wide Inc. will receive a maximum of $11.93 million for temperate weather black boots and The Hygenic Corp. will receive a maximum of $9.72 million for medical/surgical resupply and sustainment. Modern IT Gov was awarded a $11.21 million modification for the second one-year option for software support and licenses.
