The House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Energy and Power will hold a hearing at 10 a.m. EST on Tuesday in Room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building to examine eight energy infrastructure bills, five of which involve boosting the amount of hydroelectric power sourced from non-powered dams.
The remaining three bills involve updating the Natural Gas Act to include aerial-survey data in federal reviews of natural gas pipelines, updating the Federal Power Act (FPA) to provide for re-hearings on orders affecting rates, and amending the FPA to include a minimum $10 million to acquire Federal Energy Regulatory Commission jurisdictional facilities.
