Alabama-based Defense Technology Inc. (DTI), provider of logistics support to U.S. forces and allies, said this week that it has been awarded an Operations and Logistics contract for its affiliated team.
The team, International Tactical Solutions (ITS), was co-created as a joint venture company by DTI in collaboration with Kord Technologies and ISP LLC.
The U.S. Air Force Counter Narcotics and Global Threats (CN>) Operations and Logistics contract is an ID/IQ (indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity) multi-award contract with inherent flexibility factors allowing for elasticity in terms of delivery and quantity.
With a current award cap of $975 million and a tentative duration of 9 years, the program's goal is to provide services, equipment, materials, and construction and repair services to U.S. and partner nations’ operational and logistics organizations, with the ultimate mission of improving overall capabilities.
Operating from its headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama, and supported by facilities located in Moscow and Bahrain, DTI also secured a contract in January with the U.S. Special Forces Command to deliver non-standard arms, ammunition and missiles. That contract is a Basic Ordering Agreement with a five-year performance period.
The company specializes in aviation support and threat hardware, with provision, maintenance and spare parts for non-standard weapons.
