Serco Inc. recently won a $12 million contract to install Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I)/IT infrastructure at the Command and Control Facility at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska.

"We are excited about this new win and continuing a long-term relationship with the U.S. Air Force," Serco Chairman and CEO Dan Allen said. "This new contract win expands our IT services footprint, modernizing Department of Defense Command and Control facilities."

Serco specializes in professional, technology and management services. The company has been in the C4I industry for more than 25 years and has worked with the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Army, completing thousands of installations both on ships and on land. The four-year contract was awarded through the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific).

The Air Force’s vision for the Command and Control Facility at Offutt is that it will be able to support operations for the next five decades. Serco will follow this mandate of flexibility as it works to design, procure, integrate and install C4I and IT network systems.
