The Navy Center for
Security Forces (CENSECFOR) recently awarded a $3.8 million contract to
OGSystems (OGS) that will see the technology-solutions company offer innovative
solutions for the center’s training programs.
"We are delighted
to have this opportunity to help the Navy achieve their objective of
high-velocity training," OGS co-founder and President Garrett
Pagon said.
OGS is a leading vendor of technology
innovation for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the intelligence community
(IC). In its new three-year contract with CENSECFOR, located in Little
Creek, Virginia, OGS will work to modernize the Navy’s training approach with new
technology, such as virtual and augmented reality. OGS plans to employ immersive
engineering, lean startup and agile techniques in its delivery on the contract.
CENSECFOR is one of 13 Naval Education and
Training Command (NETC) learning centers and trains over 28,000
students each year.
