Advanced IT Concepts wins Army medical simulation support contract

Advanced IT Concepts (AITC) recently won a Medical Simulation Support Services (MS3) contract from the U.S. Army Product Manager for Medical Simulation (PM MedSim), which, if all options are exercised, carries a value of nearly $70 million.
"Winning MS3 represents a tremendous milestone for AITC and for our subcontractor, General Dynamics Information Systems (GDIT),”  AITC President and CEO Gabriel Ruiz said. “This win solidifies AITC's capabilities as an Army partner capable of achieving the complex implementation required for a successful training logistics operation. …For more than six years, AITC has supported PM MedSim by deploying IT solutions to Medical Simulation Training Centers (MSTC's) and Training Labs around the globe. We are excited about this opportunity to expand our PM MedSim support.”
The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quanity (ID/IQ) contract bears a one-year base ordering period with four one-year optional periods. AITC will work with PM MedSim, part of the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI), to assist with procurement and logistics services related to medical-based simulation training.
"Although our company's niche is information technology, four years ago we envisioned the possibility of branching out and creating a logistics division,” AITC VHA and MS3 Program Manager Noel Pantoja said.
