The U.S. Air Force Space Command’s Security
Control Assessor (SCA) recently renewed Telos Corp.’s license to act as a general agent for the fifth consecutive year and its license to act as a special agency for the second consecutive year.
“We’re very proud of Telos’ recognition as
one of only a few commercial companies that have received these dual certifications,” Telos Cyber Security Consulting Senior Director Tom Dimtsios said. “We have a long history of supporting the Air Force and are pleased to see that
our efforts are recognized for their value and supported moving forward.”
As an agent of the Security Control
Assessor, Telos provides cybersecurity and risk management services.
This includes testing security and protection features of systems, networks,
applications and platform IT as well as evaluating documentation,
processes, procedures and other operations for those systems. The
company also inputs its assessment results in the enterprise Mission Assurance
Support Service to facilitate project approval, validates compliance
with Department of Defense (DoD) guidances and delivers security assessment reports and the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) for DoD IT.
