The Defense
Intelligence Agency (DIA) recently awarded the Enterprise Service Operations
Center (ESOC) task order, with a value of nearly $167 million and for a period of
up to four and half years if all options are excercised, to CSRA Inc.
The ESOC provides support
for Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems global customers,
including self-help knowledge portals, remote service desk resolutions support
and in-field customer engagement support.
Under the task order,
which has a base period of one year, CSRA will manage ESOC, consolidating and
standardizing the center’s remote and in-field customer support. Work on the
contract will take place across the globe, including CSRA’s new Integrated
Technology Center (ITC) in Bossier City, Louisiana, which is expected to open
this fall.
"DIA's critically
important mission to produce, analyze and disseminate military intelligence
information means that they require a dependable IT support system and
efficient service," CSRA Intelligence Group Executive Vice President
Leigh Palmer said. "Leveraging more than 50 years of enterprise IT experience,
and an outstanding team with significant know-how, we will serve as the first
point of contact to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively and
empower our customers to seek solutions via self-help knowledge portals."
