Under its existing TEIS III contract, NCI
Inc. recently won a $10 million task order for engineering and integration
support services for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM)
at Fort Meade, Maryland.
The 18-month contract -- awarded from the
U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command, National Capital Region
Engineering Directorate -- will see NCI work on INSCOM command, control
communications, computers and intelligence/information technology (C4I/IT) systems.
Specifically, the information technology solutions providers will engineer,
furnish, install, secure and test the systems, which involve multiple
classification levels.
The scope of the contract covers data network systems,
voice systems, applications, audio/visual systems and supporting applications.
The contract also covers physical end user locations, classification
connectivity requirements, infrastructure equipment room and premise
distribution wiring in a secure facility.
“NCI has developed a unique methodology for
C4I/IT implementations focused on engineering for mission assurance, ease of
maintainability and maximum cost effectiveness,” Paul Dillahay, NCI president and CEO, said. “We look forward to bringing the vast experience from our
previous successes within the intelligence community to INSCOM for this new task
order award.”
