The U.S. Navy recently selected Diligent Consulting Inc. and
CACI International Inc. for a SeaPort-e Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity
(IDIQ) contract that will see the companies provide IT support services in 22
functional areas.
The contract allows Diligent and CACI, which are partnered -- as well as other select companies -- to bid on functional task orders issued under
SeaPort-e, the Navy’s electronic platform for procurement.
SeaPort-e includes task
orders related to Engineering, Financial Management, Information Technology,
Information Assurance/Cyber Security and Program Management, and supports Navy
Systems Commands, the Office of Naval Research, Military Sealift Command and
the U.S. Marine Corps.
According to government estimates, task orders procured
through SeaPort-e could reach a total value of up to $3.96 billion.
"Diligent is thrilled to be selected by the Navy for this
multiple award IDIQ contract,” Diligent Chief Operating Officer Rick
Riney said. “It will allow us to leverage our success providing outstanding IT
services across multiple government customers in support of the Navy and
affiliated agencies."
Diligent, based in San Antonio, Texas, provides IT
Solutions, Application Development and Modernization, Cyber and Intel Solutions
and IT Professional Services.
