The U.S. Air Force recently awarded Lockheed Martin a $67 million contract to provide spare sensor systems parts for the Royal Saudi Air Force's F-15 fighters, which it expects to begin delivering in 2018.
The Royal Saudi Air Force's F-15 Strike Eagles are twin-engine fighters produced by Boeing. The craft specialize in combat roles like targeted strike missions, reconnaissance and air-to-air engagements.
As part of Lockheed Martin's most recent contract, the company will provide replacement parts like Infrared Search and Track systems, Sniper Advanced Targeting Pods and LANTIRN Extended Range navigation pods.
