The Homeland Security & Defense Business Council said it recently added six new companies to its membership, which will allow the council to better offer product, technology and service solutions to the U.S. government.
“We are thrilled to welcome these six companies to the council, who represent different and important parts of the homeland security industrial base,” Homeland Security & Defense Business Council President and CEO Marc Pearl said in a news release. “While continuing our initiatives at (the Department of Homeland Security), this year the council began offering additional member benefits by expanding our engagements to more government agencies in the homeland security enterprise.”
The council allows member organizations to exchange ideas and perspectives among themselves and with the government. The new members are Capgemini Government Solutions, Eagle Ray Inc., Flatter & Associates, Information Innovators Inc., Schambach & Williams Consulting and Reed Tech, A LexisNexis Company.
“It is an exciting time for all members to take advantage of these added benefits and the upcoming opportunities we will have to develop relationships with the new administration to better understand their homeland priorities,” Pearl said. “We look forward to involving our newest companies in council events and utilizing their expertise in our thought leadership initiatives.”
