The Industry Advisory Group will be holding a public meeting in Washington, D.C., on April 5.
The organization acts as an advisory group to the U.S. government regarding the latest news and practices that impact the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Its input has a direct implication on the facilities of the U.S. government. According to the U.S. Department of State, the work helps achieve foreign policy objectives.
The meeting will focus on industry and academia’s latest information related to property management as it applies to OBO’s objectives.
There will be some time given for members of the public to add their comments to the discussion.
The meeting will be held at the Loy Henderson Conference Room of the U.S. State Department, 2201 C Street.
In order to attend, members of the public will need to register, as only those on a pre-arranged clearance list will be admitted.
To register, send first and last name, company name, date of birth, country of citizenship and the number and issuing country/state associated with a valid government-issued identification (such as a U.S. passport, driver’s license, etc.) via email to IAGR@state.gov. This information must be sent by March 22.
