MacAulay-Brown firm wins Air Force data contract

MacAulay-Brown Inc. (MacB), and engineering services company that offers offers logistics, IT solutions integrated cyber services, recently said its Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC) subsidiary received a one-year U.S. Air Force contract to assist with analytics for big data management.

EITC will develop and implement assessments for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Big Data Platform (BDP) in Maryland. AFLCMC oversees Air Force weapon systems and is currently focusing on streamlining requirements and usage data to guide future analytics, a MacB release said.

EITC will study the potential for a shared platform designed to be accessible by numerous weapon systems and stakeholders concurrently with their respective operations, including programming for the U.S. Department of Defense Information Networks (DoDIN) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations.

“We have a proud history of supporting BDP development and integration pilot initiatives for our valued customers,” Shawn Justice, senior vice president and general nanager of EITC, said in the release. “EITC has been exploring this work on behalf of the Air Force for some time, and we look forward to showcasing our data analytics and implementation capabilities on the BDP to help achieve AFLCMC objectives.”
