Cubic showcasing virtual training, combat capabilities at Maryland conference

Cubic Corp. is demonstrating air combat, virtual training and other solutions at the Air, Space & Cyber Conference running through Wednesday in Maryland.

The conference, hosted by the Air Force Association (AFA), offers industry stakeholders an inside look at the latest developments in combat technology while offering networking opportunities and keynote presentations in addition to technology exhibits.

"As the market leader in air combat training systems for the United States and our allied nations, Cubic provides critical technologies designed to raise human awareness and enhance mission readiness in the multi-domain battlespace," Cubic Global Defense President Dave Buss said in a news release.

Cubic, based in San Diego, develops and runs transportation, defense and communications systems through its Cubic Global Defense, Cubic Transportation Systems and Cubic Mission Solutions divisions.

Cubic Global Defense provides a wide range of game-based training systems, special operations and more for the U.S. and affiliated defense groups, while Cubic Mission Solutions provides networked command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions for military, intelligence and private operations. Cubic Transportation provides information technology and other services for automated fare collection systems for public transit operations.
