Legrand’s Rochford scores sustainability leadership prize

Legrand’s Susan Rochford, recognized for her leadership in sustainability and community involvement, recently ranked among recipients of the 2017 Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards at the 2017 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Boston.

Rochford serves as vice president of sustainability, energy-efficiency and public policy for Legrand North and Central America. Under her tutelage, the company has achieved numerous goals in operations, product design, transparency and community volunteerism.

With the firm since 2010, she has led Legrand’s Better Communities Program, overseeing active employee volunteer projects and charitable donations for housing assistance, natural disaster relief, and school facility sustainability, the last in partnership with the nationwide USGBC Center for Green Schools.

Rochford also belongs to Legrand’s women-oriented diversity program, Elle@Legrand.
