AmeraMex International, a purveyor of industrial equipment for logistics, infrastructure, construction and mining industries as well as government clients, recently announced its newest round of equipment orders come to approximately $787,500.

The purchase orders originated in California, Montana and Utah, company spokespersons said, with requests for container handlers, forklifts and capacity yard switchers for the mining, lumber and shipping sectors.

AmeraMex has topped $8 million in sales and $2.5 million in rental agreements, plus a $1.8 million, five-year rental arrangement with the U.S. government.

“Our customers are taking advantage of the 50 percent bonus depreciation as a tax write-off by purchasing equipment before the end of the year,” AmeraMex CEO Lee Hamre said. “We hope to finish the month with additional orders that are in our potential-sales pipeline.”

Based in Chico, California, AmeraMex International comprises three business divisions operating under the Hamre name: Hamre Equipment Inc., Hamre Heavy Haul and Hamre Parts & Service organization. All three units are authorized dealers for major manufacturers and stock ample inventories of heavy-duty industrial vehicles from  log loaders to forklifts, loaders, excavators, and numerous trucks and trailers.

Additionally, the company provides maintenance with a fully equipped service department.
